Congratulations Meghan Stubbs, Milken Award Winner!
The Milken Educator Award targets early-to-mid career education professionals for their already impressive achievements and, more significantly, for the promise of what they will accomplish in the future. Along with the award, Meghan will work with the other Milken Award winners in Maine and nationally to advocate for education, including a conference in Los Angeles in the spring of 2024. Meghan also received a $25,000 check to be used for her program at HCTC!
Special thanks to Commissioner Pender Makin (Milken Award Winner '01) and Milken Family Foundation Senior Program Director Greg Gallagher for presenting the award to Mrs. Stubbs. Other attendees included five past Milken Award Winners Mary Giard '92, Dick Durost '95 Hillary Bellefleur '21, Sarah Collins '22, and Educate Maine Representatives Kaitlin Young and Dolly Sullivan.
