"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead

The EHS Green Team and Garden Club has a dual mission! The EHS Green team works towards increasing awareness of global and local environmental issues, providing educational opportunities for our EHS community to learn more about environmental issues, and empowering students to become stewards of our school and community. Students who are interested in environmental advocacy, awareness, and social justice are encouraged to join. In addition, the EHS Green Team and Garden Club maintains EHS’s beautiful greenhouse and raised beds, learns about sustainable agriculture with the goal of managing our soil and beds in a sustainable manner, and works towards providing vegetables grown by us for our café!

The club is open to new members. We meet every other Thursday morning at 7:15 in Mrs. Berry’s Room 227. During the spring and fall season, we also meet for Thursday focused learning and afterschool for work in the greenhouse and garden! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Berry or Ms. Hessler for details!
