Ellsworth School Department is undergoing an exciting project to upgrade our AV technology across the district, and we're looking to partner with a qualified contractor for the project!
Ellsworth School Department is now accepting proposals for a comprehensive Classroom AV Project, including new 75-inch interactive flat panels for instructional use in approximately 135 classrooms. Contractors interested in being part of this major technology upgrade can review the full Request for Proposals below. Proposals are due March 31, 2026. The project includes equipment delivery and professional wall mounting at Ellsworth Elementary Middle School, Ellsworth High School, and the Hancock County Technical Center. The scope also covers the removal of existing equipment (such as projectors and whiteboards), paint-ready wall restoration, staff training, and ongoing technical support. Notably, all proposed panels must feature native Google EDLA certification to ensure seamless integration with our Google Workspace for Education environment.
Key dates include a site walk on March 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM (starting at Hancock County Technical Center), a deadline for bidder questions on March 20 at 4:00 PM, and a proposal submission deadline of March 31 at 9:00 AM. Proposals will be publicly opened on March 31 shortly after 9:00 AM, and we anticipate awarding a contract shortly after. The contract begins in June 2026.
