The atmosphere in Katsiaficas Gymnasium was electric on Tuesday night for this year's battle between the seniors and the staff!
Our Class of 2026 battled hard in the annual matchup - but the staff were victorious again for the third year in a row!
Off the court, the game was an excellent and successful fundraiser, too. Through concessions, ticket sales, and our 50/50 raffle, we raised $687 and half of that is going to the Beth C. Wright Cancer Center right here in Ellsworth!
The event was a showcase of talent from across the entire school. Our Stage Crew built and designed the custom hoop for the staff’s grand entrance—which led to the highlight of the night as Mr. McKechnie made a memorable, if slightly ungraceful, tumble through it. Show Choir kicked off the festivities with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem. And we even had seniors and staff as cheerleaders, hyping their teams up all night long!
It was, as it always is, a tremendous display of school spirit, community pride - and also a whole lot of fun! Thank you to everyone who made it another special night!
