Ellsworth High School offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to participate in a number of VPA curricular and co-curricular activities. The ensembles available to students include Concert Choir, Symphonic Band, Jazz Choir, Jazz Band, Show Choir, Jazz Combo, and Pep Band. In addition to theatre classes, students may also participate in the Fall Musical, Drama Club, and One Act Productions.
