Boat building is an after school club where we are building a 22 foot wood St Ayles Skiffs. Participants are welcome to try their hand at wooden boat building for four minutes or four years. People have been building boats for thousands of years, and it is not so much about the boats as it is the opportunity to problem solve and practice new skills. A boat builder can build anything. The boat building room is equipped to handle all sorts of engineering challenges and students are always welcome to get in touch with Mr. McKechnie when they want to build or make something.
