This certification program will offer students an opportunity to explore techniques or technological applications in biomedical research.  Students will learn about the genetic basis for human disease and will learn and practice the skills and techniques necessary to support this research.  the program will teach participants how to read and interpret scientific protocols, utilize databases, record and interpret data, how to work as a member of a research or research services team and how to work with animal models in a research setting including colony management and veterinary services.
 

SCHEDULE

This course meets Monday-Friday from 8:15 am-10:30 am.

This course is held at Ellsworth High School .
